The i like book for kids is an amazing book because it is designed for each child to have their very own book. The parent(s) writes an "i like" in their book that they want to notice or appreciate about the child.  The two main things are that it even though it is formatted for daily entries, even one entry a week is extremely meaningful for a child.  The second important thing is to use it interactively (no matter the age-make sure the child knows what it is you "like" about them.) The i like book is literally a voice for the children.
